DIRECTIONS TO THE FARMINGTON TOWN OFFICE From Auburn: Follow Route 4 north through Turner, Livermore, Livermore Falls, Jay, and Wilton. In Wilton, Route 4 merges with Route 2 to become Routes 2/4. Continue west on 2/4 for about 3 miles to Farmington’s commercial strip. Continue until you see a Rite Aid Drug Store on the left. Stay in the right lane and you will go through one traffic light, then a short four lane wide bridge. After crossing the bridge, take the right hand ramp before the next traffic light in order to stay on Route 2. The Town office is about 1/8 of a mile from this point on Route 2. The building is on the right, it is brick and there are large fire department bay doors in front. The address is 153 Farmington Falls Road. From Augusta: Follow Route 27 north through Belgrade Lakes, Rome, and then New Sharon. In New Sharon you will come to a stop sign where you will take a left onto Route 2 West. Travel west on Route 2 about 11-12 miles to get to the Town Office, which is on the left side of Route 2. From the east: Follow Route 2 west through Skowhegan, Norridgewock, Mercer, and New Sharon. In New Sharon, continue west on Route 2 to Farmington, where you will see the Town Office on the left as you come into town. From the north: Take Route 4 south from Rangeley or Route 27 south from Kingfield to Farmington. Continue on Routes 4 and 27 through downtown Farmington to the intersection with Route 2 east, just past McDonald’s. Turn left at the light. The Town Office is on the right, about 1/8 of a mile from the intersection. From the west: Take Route 2 east from the Bethel area through Rumford to the intersection of Routes 2 and 4 in Wilton. Continue east on Routes 2/4 to Farmington. Follow the first set of directions above to the Town Office. The following is a listing of distances from various areas to Farmington:
