FY 2027 Municipal Budget
The preliminary FY 2027 budget is available below. This budget covers the months of July 2026 through June 2027. The Town Meeting to vote on this budget will be held on May 11, 2027.
The Budget Committee will meet on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. starting March 12. The Select Board will meet on Tuesdays starting March 17 at 6:00 p.m. Meetings that fall on a regular Select Board night will be incorporated into the regular meeting agenda. The full schedule of meetings and presentations is attached.
Note that the mil rate projection is solely an estimate based on current valuation and the requested budget. The mil rate is only final when the Assessor commits the taxes.

The Finance Department is responsible for the financial affairs of the Town and the Waste Water Department. The function of the Finance Department is to manage the financial activities of the Town of Farmington to assure public resources are responsibly received, safe guarded, accounted for and distributed. In addition it seeks to provide timely financial information and reporting of these activities.
