Brian Ross

Brian Ross has been an officer with the Farmington Police Department since April of 2004.  Prior to being hired as a police officer, Brian served 4 1/2 years as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army.  Brian was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and was deployed to Central America and Iraq.  

Brian is currently enrolled at the University of Maine at Augusta and is working towards his B.A. in Public Administration.

Brian was recognized with the distinction of Officer of The Quarter for the Fall of 2006 for his outstanding handling of several situations involving officer and public safety, swift justice for a victim of sexual assault and continued efforts on traffic enforcement.  More recently, Brian was recognized with the distinction of Employee of the Quarter for the Fall of 2010 for his knowledge of current and emerging drug trends, drug identification and chemical field testing, and drafting affidavits for search warrants followed by the orderly collection and preservation of evidence. His unselfish dedication to his chosen law enforcement profession, willingness to work in harmony with others, and sharing of his knowledge and skills while providing a leadership role for others to follow.
