Michael Adcock

Sergeant Michael Adcock

Michael grew up in Massachusetts and had been a police officer there for 6 years.  In 2007 he made the decision to relocate to Maine and was hired by the Farmington Police Department, where he says he appreciated the warm welcome he received from co-workers and the citizens of Farmington.

Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College. Michael was recently presented the Educational Achievement Award pin with gold acorn to recognize this accomplishment.

When not on duty, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Michael recently received the distinction of Employee of the Quarter for Winter 2009 and Spring 2009 for his efforts in traffic enforcement, his excellent work ethic and keen observations that solved a burglary that could have otherwise gone unsolved.

Michael was promoted to Sergeant in December of 2010.  Congratulations Mike!
